A Vast And Pristine Hunting Concession
The hunting area stretches along the shores of Lake Cahora Bassa in northern Tete Province. Covering nearly 350,000 acres, the concession is bordered by Zimbabwe to the west and south, and by the Zambezi River and Lake Cahora Bassa to the north.
The area offers a wide range of habitats, including cathedral mopane forests, Jesse bush, riverine forest, and expansive alluvial floodplains. This diversity supports a strong selection of Zambezi Valley species such as kudu, impala, bushbuck, duiker, and grysbok.
The concession is also home to healthy populations of elephant and Cape buffalo, along with a well-established predator presence including lion and leopard. The lake and river systems support large numbers of hippo and crocodile, with above-average crocodile trophies taken annually. As a result, the area is regarded as one of the premier crocodile hunting destinations in Africa.
Prime dangerous game species available include elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, lion, hippo, and crocodile, along with high-quality Chobe Bushbuck and Sharpe’s grysbok. Please note that elephant trophies cannot currently be imported into the United States.

Important Considerations
Mozambique is a malaria zone, and hunters are advised to take appropriate prophylactics and precautions. Temperatures vary significantly throughout the season, with cooler conditions from April to August (approximately 20—30°C) and hotter periods in October, when temperatures may reach up to 42°C.
